Sanele Sithole (born March 28, 1989), better known by his stage name Sun-El Musician,(pronounced “sanele musician”; stylized as Sun-El Musician), is a South African disc jockey, music producer and songwriter. Born and raised in Mooi River, KwaZulu-Natal, he was a producer for Demor Music before the establishment of his own record label EL World Music. He rose to fame in 2016 after he released his single “Akanamali”, which peaked No.1 on Shazam. His debut album Africa To The World, released in 2018, with singles “Ntaba Ezikude”, “Bamthathile”, “Sonini”, which were certified doubled-platinum by RiSA. His second studio album To the World & Beyond, was released (2020). To the World & Beyond contained two platinum selling singles: “Into Ingawe” and “Ubomi Abumanga”. On June 2019, he released a single “Into Ingawe” featuring Ami Faku. The song was certified double platinum by the Recording industry of South Africa (RiSA). On April 6, 2021, he announce a single “Uhuru” featuring Azana on Twitter.^[19] The song was released on April 17, 2021. It served as the lead single from his album.

On May 29, 2020, he released a single “Ubomi Abumanga” featuring Msaki. On December 3, 2020, To the World & Beyond was released, featuring many artist including, Kwesta, Azana, Simmy, Mthunzi, S-Tone, Kenza, Msaki and Ami Faku.

At 27th ceremony of South African Music Awards To the World and Beyond, was nominated as Best Dance album and Male Artist of the Year. He won best Live Visual Recording for his Album To the World and Beyond.

At the 6th ceremony of Mzansi Kwaito and House Music Awards he received a nomination for Best DJ. On July 5, 2021, he announced a new single titled “Portia’s Chant” on Facebook. The song was released on July 9, 2021.

On June 16, 2021, he released extended mix of his single “Akanamali”. On 14 August 2021, Kunye Live Mix was released.

In early September 2021, it was reported that Sithole was working on AEDM Extended Play. On September 17, 2021, he released a single “Higher” featuring vocals from Simmy, lead single from his upcoming Extended Play AEDM [acronym for “African Electronic Dance Music”], which is set to be released on 29 October 2021.
