The opportunity has resulted in the birth and growth of renowned music producers like Mas Musiq. He is the brains behind some of the most loved hits like Zaka.

Thabo Ngubane was born in August 1997 in Tembisa. As a young boy, he always dreamt of creating music; hence, he decided to make his dream come true by enrolling in an academy to study music. The venture marked the birth of Mas Musiq, his artistic name that most people know him for.

After graduating from the academy and landing an opportunity at DJ Maphorisa’s record label, he embarked on his career. He joined Mlindo The Vocalist, Shasha, Daliwonga, Bontle Smith, and Zingah, who were also signed to the brand.
