Themba Sekowe (born November 15, 1987) known professionally as DJ Maphorisa, is a South African record producer, DJ and vocalist. As a record producer with a blend of house music and afropop, he has worked with and has received production credits from several notable artists, including Wizkid, Kwesta, Uhuru, Drake, Black Coffee, Major Lazer, Runtown, C4 Pedro, TRESOR, Kabza De Small and Era Istrefi.[5][6] He is presently signed to his record label BlaqBoy Music upon quitting Kalawa Jazmee Records. Siyabonga Nene (born 7 April 1987), known professionally as Big Zulu, is a South African rapper, songwriter and actor. He rose to spotlight after releasing the single “Donsa Nkabi” in 2016. He signed a record deal with Universal Music in 2015 and released his debut album, Ushun Wenkabi, in 2018. The album spawned two platinum selling singles: “Vuma dlozi” and “Ama Million”. His second album, Ungqongqoshe Woongqongqoshe, was released in 2019. It contained the chart-topping single “Ama Million”, which peaked number 5 on the iTunes Chart. Following the success of his second album, he released “Mali Eningi”, which was certified double platinum by the RiSA.
Zulu’s third studio album Ichwane Lenyoka (2021), spawned three chart-topping singles “Imali Eningi”, “Inhlupheko” and “Umuzi eSandton”. Zulu also appeared in the television shows Isibaya, One Mic, Uzalo (2020) and Isithembiso.
Young Stunna returned to Port Harcourt, Nigeria in December 2012 and since then he’s topped video and radio charts in the city most recently with the Smash single, “AMAECHI (RUN THE TOWN)” which was No.1 on RhythmFM’s Top10 for 12 weeks, and WazobiaFM for 5 weeks. He’s rated as one of the top acts in Southern Nigeria. His next project “Blood, Swear & Profit” is scheduled to be released in 2015.
