Winnie Khumalo is a South African Soweto born singer, actress and pop star. She is one of the biggest TV series in the country “Muvhango, Mponeng and a stage play titled The Journey”. Winnie was introduced to the music industry at the tender age of 15 when she released the albums Hey Laitie, Tshina Tshina (Produced by Sello Chicco Twala) and an album entitled Dlamini in the 1980s. She also recorded a gospel album titled Izono Zami in the 1990s produced by Pastor Langa Dube. The highlight of Winnie Khumalo’s music career was working with the late Brenda Fassie (As Brenda’s Backing vocalist and lead vocalist). After her comeback in 2008 after a break, her fourth album Live my life was produced and released by Kalawa Jazmee.
