MFR Souls got their major break in the music industry when they got signed to Sony records. Although their music journey started as far back in 2013, when they started with remixing songs and experimenting with the Amapiano sound.
MFR soul has since their major break gone on to release topnotch songs. In 2019 the group dropped their hit song “Love You Tonight” featuring DJ Maphorisa , Kabza De Small and Sha Sha. The hit track elevated the music group even further into dropping a studio project.
MFR Souls has collaborated with various artists in the industry and have built for themselves a very big fan base. The capacity of their fanbase came to play when the group got into a freak accident in 2019 and saw a whole lot of fans cheering for their recovery.
Lady Du is a South African Amapiano artist and DJ. She started working on her music career since she was nine years old but struggled to gain recognition in the competitive music scene in Mzansi. She had her breakout many years later in 2020 after almost giving up.
Lady Du has been in the Amapiano scene for less than two years, and her impact is already being felt globally. She has made a few friends in the industry and had a particularly close bond with the late Mpura. His sudden death in a car crash in early August 2021 broke her, as seen from her numerous tributes to the fallen star.
